The next paddock (5) on offer to the cows is under the fixed sprays and has 1,350 kg DM available per hectare and 2.3 leaves regrown. This paddock has been 31 days rested since previous grazing, so the average growth rate was 44 kg DM/ha/day and leaf appearance rate was 13 days.
